Description
Designed for secondary school lab
- For secondary school students, ideal for education, biology, and histology
Price/ Performance Ratio
- Affordable price
- Monocular head with 18mm field number.
- N.A 1.25 with Iris diaphragm
- Convenient, rackless moving stage to prevent scrapes.
Well-built Mechanical Stage
The mechanical stage moves in the X and Y dimensions via 2 knobs, allowing you to scan through the sample easily without moving the microscope slide by hands.
Laboratory Grade Optics
EDU405 objectives are standard configuration that includes DIN achromat 4x, 10x and 40xR (spring-loaded) objectives.
Condenser with Iris Diaphragm
The Iris diaphragm allows you to control how much of the microscopic image is in focus.
When the Iris is open, more light is let in and the microscope can produce an image with a shallower depth of field. This makes the subject you’d like to focus is in focus and the background is blurry.
When the Iris is?closed, less light is let in and the produced image has a deeper depth of field, and has all details in focus.
The Iris diaphragm allows users to change the reflection and the intensity of the light, allowing students to?view the top and bottom of the specimen?and get a better microscopic image by using the objective 40x and 100x.
Turn into a digital microscope in a blink
The microscope EDU405 can be used in conjunction with the digital camera/ eyepiece (sold separately). This allows you to store the image immediately into your device or easily show the microscopic image to your students at once.
Unlike some digital microscopes that do not have eyepieces for you to observe with and need a device screen to see the images, EDU405 is more flexible as it gives you the options to be both traditional and digital microscope.
